Banja Luka City Tour
Banja Luka City Tour starts at the old fortress Kastel. You will hear more about earliest history of this area as well as building of the fortress, and legends related to it. Next stop is famous Ferhat - pasha mosque, built in late XVI century. After that you will go to the main square in Banja Luka ( Krajina Square ) where you will hear all information about city park Petar Kocic, Krajina Square, Imperial road and Banja Luka's eartquake in 1969. After that you will take a walk through Veselina Maslese Street, main walking area in Banja Luka, packed with most exclusive shops. Next stop is orhodox church Christ the Savior, the most impressive church in this region, with very interesting and turbulent history. Surounding the churc, there are several very interesting buildings: Presidental Palace ( President of Republika Srpska ), Cultural Centre Banski Dvor, City Administration Building, Museum of Contemporary Art, Hotel Bosna. Next stop is National Theatre of Republika Srpska. Across the street is the building of National Archives of Republika Srpska, National Assembly of Republika Srpska and former Government Administration Building. Just 200 meters further is our last stop of the tour, St Bonaventura Catholic church.
